The baby girl was born in the early week of July at the Assuta Medical Center in Ashdod. Doctors told that, during the ultrasound of the mother in the last weeks of pregnancy, the belly of the newborn girl was bigger than other children. After the birth of the newborn, the doctors did his ultrasound and X-ray. The test report confirmed that there was more than one fetus in her stomach.

Omar Globus, director of neonatology at Assuta Medical Center, said, “We were shocked after the embryo was confirmed. We together with the top experts of the medical center performed the surgery on the newborn girl and separated the fetus from her abdomen. I think he had more than one fetus. The embryo was not fully developed, says Omar, but the bones and heart could be clearly seen in it. The surgery was successful. Mother and child have been discharged.
