Screws tightened on those selling illegal liquor
Sisodia said that in the last three-four years, the Delhi government made a lot of efforts to crack down on the sellers of illicit liquor and as a result about 7 lakh 9 thousand bottles of illicit liquor were caught in the last two years. Alcohol will not be consumed in the open in any way. For this, the shopkeeper will have to install CCTV and make arrangements for security guards etc. If needed, the police will also have to be contacted, but there will not be an environment to drink alcohol in the open, it will be the responsibility of the shopkeeper. New shops will open from November 17. Government shops will remain open during this period.
