Shivpal Yadav has become a FOOTBALL, gets kicked by both teams: CM Yogi Adityanath in Mainpuri

Mainpuri: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a dig at Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) leader Shivpal Singh Yadav and said that the PSP L chief has become “something like a football”, which is being “kicked by both the teams”. The chief minister made the remarks in Mainpuri, where Shivpal and top SP leaders are campaigning hard for Dimple Yadav, the Samajwadi Party’s candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha bypolls. Shivpal and Akhilesh Yadav were reportedly at loggerheads after their defeat in the assembly polls earlier this year, in which Shivpal contested on a Samajwadi Party ticket.

Taking a dig at Shivpal after the recent developments, Yogi while addressing an election rally in Mainpuri said, “He has become something like a pendulum or a football which is kicked by both the teams. We saw last How he was insulted on stage for not getting a chair last time and had to sit on the arm of the chair.”

Recalling Mulayam Singh’s statement in Parliament that “Jeetagi toh BJP hi”, Yogi said the BJP won the Azamgarh and Rampur Lok Sabha seats “with his blessings”.

“Again, you (people) have an opportunity to make Netaji’s dream come true by ensuring BJP’s victory in Mainpuri Lok Sabha bypoll and script history,” he said.

The chief minister said the SP would “try to play the emotional card” and asked people not to “fall under their spells”. “Socialism and secularism are hollow slogans for the Samajwadi Party, which considers politics a family business,” he said.

“They have nothing to do with the development or welfare and prosperity of the people. They cannot stand with you during the crisis. They were nowhere to be seen during the novel coronavirus. They are only concerned about their own as well as their families. Also interested.” `interests,’ CM Yogi said.

Urging people to be part of the “big BJP family”, Yogi said the BJP government alone has the intention, dedication and commitment to improve people’s lives through development projects and welfare schemes.

“We are building houses and toilets for the people. We are providing ration to 15 crore people. During the pandemic, we provided free tests, treatment and vaccines to the people. We provide an annual pension of Rs 12000 to the old people, widows, destitutes. providing pension. women and differently abled”, he remarked.

“When the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi assumed power in 2014, the PM gave the slogan “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, meaning development and welfare of all, but discrimination against none and appeasement of none And the party strictly followed this principle in the discharge of its duties.”

Seeking votes for Shivpal Yadav, who is pitted against former SP MP Raghuraj Singh Shakya, a close aide of Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav’s wife Dimple Yadav, Yogi said the development of Mainpuri can gain momentum if the local leadership is active. That too from BJP.

Voting for the bypoll will be held on December 5 and the counting of votes will take place on December 8.
