The television star grabbed eyeballs for her rumoured relationship with her Barsaatein: Mausam Pyaar Ka co-star Kushal Tandon. Recently, during a media interaction, the actress was asked about her relationship to which she responded gracefully. However, her answers seem to have been manipulated and “tweaked with voiceover.” The unfortunate incident infuriated the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai star, prompting her to vent out her anger against the culprits.
On Thursday, the actress poured her heart out while addressing the trolling around her misinterpreted statement. In an Instagram story, a disappointed Shivangi penned, “I’m very disappointed by a group of people for misconstruing my words and misinterpreting them. Recently, at an event, I was asked a generic question about a lot of rumours going around, to which I said, “That’s what rumours are for, right? They come and go.” Unfortunately, my response was tweaked with voiceover, and the outcome was a lot of uncalled-for remarks and statements causing emotional turmoil for my family and me.”
Further urging the media and her fans to respect her privacy, she mentioned, “Taking advantage of someone’s generic statement and bashing them and their families is not at all human. I respect everyone, and I expect the same in return.”
Meanwhile, Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon have been rumoured to be dating for a while now. A source, while speaking to News18 a few weeks back, confirmed that the duo might announce their relationship soon. Amid this, speculations arose that both television actors may soon exchange rings. Following the engagement rumours, Shivangi posted a cryptic post seemingly refuting the claims. Her post read, “I love Rumours. I always find out Amazing things about myself I never knew.”
Kushal Tandon has been a part of various TV shows like Ek Hazzaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Beyhadh and Hum, among others. His short yet impactful stints in shows like Bigg Boss 7, Khatron Ke Khiladi and Nach Baliye further earned him praise.
