ThaneShiv Sena workers on Thursday protested against Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut for claiming that Shrikant Shinde, son of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, had hired a history-sheeter to harm him. protested in A day earlier, an FIR against Raut for promoting enmity between different groups, defamation and other offenses was lodged at the Kapoorbawdi police station here on a complaint by Shiv Sena leader and former Thane mayor Meenakshi Shinde.

Shinde said that Raut has “lost his mental balance and hence, we want speedy treatment for him”.
In a letter to the Mumbai Police Commissioner, Raut leveled the allegations against Lok Sabha MP from Kalyan Shrikant Shinde.
