The Union Home Minister challenged the MVA office-bearers in Maharashtra to step down and fight the elections together against the BJP. Shah claimed, “I was talking of a power-sharing alliance with the Shiv Sena for the 2019 state assembly polls. But the Shiv Sena stabbed the BJP, which was eyeing the CM’s post.”
