New Delhi: Bollywood couple Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra, who recently celebrated their wedding anniversary with a casual dinner, were seen at the Mumbai airport on Thursday (November 25). Raj Kundra, who has been seen hiding his face from the paparazzi with his hoodie, has remained a low profile ever since his arrest in a pornography case in July this year.
Dressed in a black hoodie and denims, Kundra did not pose for the shutterbugs and ran towards the entrance. While Shilpa appeared in a casual formal outfit. She completed her look with a black handbag, statement jewelery and white sneakers. She kept her makeup minimal. Both Raj and Shilpa reached the airport in the same car, but they were seen making separate entries.
Celeb photographer Viral Bhayani shared a video from the airport featuring Shilpa and Raj. Meanwhile, a section of people trolled the couple over the recent controversy.
“Aisa kam mat kro jiske liye muh chupana pade,” wrote one. “New film ki shooting krne jaare hai raj bhai,” wrote another user.
In July, Raj Kundra was arrested in connection with the alleged production and publication of obscene films on a mobile application. He was granted bail in September. He has since maintained a low profile and has also deleted his social media accounts.
Raj Kundra was arrested by the police on July 19 along with 11 others for allegedly making obscene films. In September, he was granted bail by a Mumbai court on a surety of Rs 50,000 in a pornography case.
A few days ago, Shilpa celebrated her 12th wedding anniversary with Raj. On the occasion, she posted a collage of their unseen wedding photos, which read, “This moment and day 12 years ago, we made a promise and continue to fulfill; to share the good times and endure the tough times.” To believe, in love and God to show us the way… Side by side, 12 years day by day and not counting… Happy Anniversary, Cookie! Shilpa was last seen as a judge in ‘Super Dancer Chapter 4’. She is now judging the reality show ‘India’s Got Talent’ along with Kirron Kher, Badshah and Manoj Muntashir. The telecast of the show will start soon. Her upcoming film releases include ‘Nikamma’ where she stars alongside Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia.
