Shilpa Shetty reaches Akshay Kumar’s Juhu residence to express condolences

After welcoming Ganpati Bappa to her home, the actress visited the bereaved Akshay for the first time on Wednesday. The actor was spotted at Akshay’s Juhu residence after the actor lost his mother Aruna Bhatia a day before his birthday. The actress was clicked in a white outfit with big glasses. Apart from Shilpa, John Abraham was also spotted outside Akshay’s house. The actor’s mother breathed her last at a hospital in Mumbai and was cremated on September 8 at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Vile Parle.

Akshay’s mother’s funeral was attended by his family as well as his close friends from the film industry, including Riteish Deshmukh, Rohit Shetty, Sajid Khan, Karan Kapadia and Ramesh Taurani.

Akshay penned a heartfelt note on social media as a tribute to his mother on her birthday today. A sad Akshay shared a happy picture of himself with his mother and wrote, “Never would have liked it like this but I am sure mom is singing Happy Birthday to me from there! Thank you for your condolences and best wishes to each and every one of you.” Thank you equally for it. Life goes on.”
