Actress Kiara Advani, who has been praised for her performance in the recently released film “Shershaah”, says her parents always read comments about their daughter on social media.

As the actress is always scrutinized by netizens, when asked how her family reacted to it, Kiara said, “I ignore it (means comments) because it affects me somewhere . I want a normal day, and I don’t want to go into reading comments….we are human too. Sometimes I think, ‘Oh my mom will read this, my father will read this and he doesn’t like it,’ and they do (read this).

“My parents hashtag Kiara Advani every day, they want to know what has been written about me, what my fans are saying about me…they enjoy it. I tell my mom to ignore it, but she tells me she wants to know what’s being said about me. So when you talk about culture, I believe respecting each other is an important part of it. People should understand that ‘they (actors) are also human beings, they also have feelings’, they are sensitive, and there must be a reason behind it.”

Kiara was in conversation on a talk show hosted by Arbaaz Khan. On the work front, she will next be seen in Jag Jug Jio, which also stars Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. The comedy will reunite with Kiara’s Good Newwz director Raj Mehta, who is directing the film.
