Shukla started his career in showbiz with modeling and was the runner-up of Gladrags Manhunt 2004. he represented India in the best model of World In 2005, he became the first Indian to win the tournament and the title held in Turkey.
Shukla made his acting debut in 2008 with the Hindi TV show Babul Ka Aangan Chhote Na. Her first performance opened the doors to her later television projects such as Balika Vadhu, Aahat, Love You Zindagi and CID. He also played a role in Bollywood film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
