Sheezan Khan, who recently got bail in Tunisha Sharma’s suicide case, spoke about his former co-star and said that if she was alive, he would have fought for her.
Sheezan Khan came out of jail after more than two months in Tunisha Sharma’s alleged suicide case. The former Ali Baba actor was blamed by his mother for his co-star’s death. About 70 days after he was arrested, he talked about Tunisha and said that if she was alive, he would have fought for her. In a recent interview, the actor opened up about his hardships and talked about the moment he came out of Thane Central Jail.
“Today, I understand the true meaning of freedom and I can feel it. Tears welled up in my eyes when I saw my mother and sisters and I am very happy to be back with them. I will lie on my mother’s lap for a few days, eat food cooked by her and spend time with my sisters and brother.”
Talking about Tunisha, Shezaan said that he misses her and if she was alive, he would have fought for her. The publication quoted her as saying, “I miss her and if she was alive, she would have fought for me.” It was good to see the family together after more than two months. Our case regarding quashing of the FIR against Sheejan is scheduled to come up for hearing in the High Court on March 9.”
The former Ali Baba actor has been granted bail on a surety of Rs one lakh and the conditions stipulated for his bail were that he should not tamper with the evidence and cooperate with the judicial proceedings. Apart from this, Khan’s passport has been kept in the custody of Vasai police.
