A new promo of the show shows Namita Thapar arguing with her co-sharks Amit Jain and Piyush Bansal about the deal in the upcoming episode.
The promo begins with a pitcher soliciting money for his product, a wearable, AI-enabled device that tracks the vital signs of expectant mothers and their unborn babies. After listening to the pitch, Namita Thapar, CEO of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Shark looks very excited and eager to invest. She immediately says, “Yeh mera sauda hai (This is my deal).” The promo features Lenskart CEO Piyush Bansal and CarDekho CEO Amit Jain showing interest in jointly investing in the pitch. Piyush also offers Namita to join them. for investment.
However, Namita Thapar is not convinced. “Mujhe solo jaana hai (I want to go alone),” she says. Amit Jain then appears eager to receive the offer and agrees to close the deal on the pitcher’s terms. Namita gets down to business and doubles the offer. Not only this, on hearing Namita’s offer, Amit asks Ghade, “Dhanda banwana hai (Do you want to do business or not)?”
Namita Thapar hit back at the two sharks, saying, “Main logo ki himmat ki dadd chaungi (I want to appreciate their audacity to challenge me).” She dares to challenge them in their area of expertise.
This is not the first time that Namita Thapar has had an argument with a fellow shark. In the previous episode of the show, Namitha left the stage after getting into an argument with Anupam Mittal. He refused and told her, “You have to keep your ego in check.”
The current season of Shark Tank India is being hosted by comedian Rahul Dua. BharatPe founder Ashner Grover, who became famous as a shark with his outspoken opinions, has been replaced by Amit Jain. However, all other sharks remain in the second season.
Apart from Namita Thapar, Piyush Bansal and Amit Jain, Shaadi.com co-founder and CEO Anupam Mittal, BoAt’s Aman Gupta and SUGAR Cosmetics co-founder and CEO Vinita Singh are the other three sharks this season.
