Shardiya’s gift to punish anti-social people, debuts at the launch of Police’s ‘Vishvas’ app

A new initiative to protect the people of Diamond Harbor Police District from anti-social elements. Diamond Harbor Police on Saturday launched a small app named ‘Aastha’. If you become a victim of anti-social elements then you can seek help from the police anytime through this app. However, this app is not made only on the occasion of worship. It will be the companion of the people of Diamond Harbor for 365 days. Diamond Harbor MP Abhishek Banerjee arrived to inaugurate this app. Minister of State for Transport and Bishnupur Center MLA Dilip Mandal was present on this occasion. Diamond Harbor was also the MLA of all the Legislative Assemblies in the Lok Sabha.




Speaking on the occasion, Abhishek Banerjee said, “Only Diamond Harbor Police District has developed such an app. It is a matter of great pride for us. Many thanks to him for this. This app was not brought just for worship days. This app has been brought for the whole year. In case of any untoward situation or any danger in this police district, any person can take help of police through this app for 365 days. As soon as you press the SOS button of the app, the message will reach the Police Quick Response Team.

Meanwhile, Diamond Harbor MPs went to the ceremony and reminded the common people to follow the COVID rules. The MP said, ‘Enjoy the worship. But you have to follow all the instructions of covid protocol and administration. Everyone should be careful that your happiness does not make others unhappy. May Maa Durga keep you all healthy, may you all be healthy. People from all over the state wait for these puja days throughout the year. Enjoy worship together regardless of caste, creed and creed.
