Sharad Kelkar lends his voice for Hindi version of ‘Dasara’ starring Nani

After dubbing for films like ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, Sharad Kelkar has now dubbed in Hindi for South superstar Nani for the Telugu film ‘Dasara’, an action thriller directed by Srikanth Odella. Written and directed by Talking about dubbing for the second South film after ‘Baahubali’, Sharad said, “It is always a wonderful and extremely enriching experience to be associated with pan-India projects of this stature. My fellow actor Nani and her body I have a lot of respect and admiration for him. Work is commendable.”

Sharad is popular for his work in both films and TV. He did TV shows such as ‘Raat Hone Ko Hai’, ‘Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar’, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’, ‘Bairi Piya’, among others and he also worked in movies like ‘Hulchul’, ‘1920: Evil Returns’, ‘Housefull 4’, ‘Tanhaji’ in which he played the role of Shivaji Maharaj, among others.

Sharing what made the dubbing process challenging for her for this film, she said, “It was quite a challenging role, it has an engrossing story line and some interesting sequences which gives a lot of scope to an artiste who has done ‘Dussehra’. ‘ made the dubbing process really enjoyable. I hope the audience enjoys the Hindi version and I look forward to the feedback.”

Sharad Kelkar has nine projects all lined up for release this year. Apart from six Hindi films, he will be a part of two Marathi projects and a Tamil project. “I have been working on all of them for the last 18 months. While I have already shot for some of them, others are currently being dubbed,” says the actor, who is gearing up for the March 24 Netflix release, ‘Chor Nikal Ke Bhag’, starring Yami There are also Gautam and Sunny Kaushal.
