Shamita Shetty and Rakeysh Bapat rubbished breakup rumors after the ‘Tum Bin’ star congratulated the actress on her recent win at an awards show with a romantic post. Shamita recently won an award at the Iconic Gold Awards 2022. Rakesh took to his Instagram stories and shared a picture of Shamita from the event.
In the photo, Shamita is looking very beautiful in a blue gown. She is all smiles as she shows off her golden trophy. Sharing the picture, Rakesh wrote, “Congratulations,” along with a heart-eye emoji. Shamita re-posted Rakesh’s story on her Instagram account with a big pink heart with thanks written on it.
A recent report by ETimes suggested that the couple has been in “massive feud mode” for a few days now. A source told the publication that due to their fight, Shamita decided to skip the farewell dinner of her ‘Rakhi’ brother Rajiv Adatiya on Thursday. Rajiv is soon going to leave for London.
“Shamita wants Rakesh to shift to Mumbai. After separating from wife Riddhi Dogra, Rakesh has shifted to Pune. Now Rakesh does not want to shift to Mumbai. Shamita feels that this is not the right way to have a relationship.” The source also revealed that Shamita and Rakesh have not been in touch.
“Shamita was never sure about her love for Rakesh. He had expressed his apprehension during his stint in ‘Bigg Boss 15’.”
Rakeysh Bapat and Shamita Shetty met on Bigg Boss OTT and made a quick contact. The two soon fell in love and during his stint in Bigg Boss 15, the Mohabbatein actor even called Rakesh his ‘boyfriend’. The Tum Bin actor was also with her as she celebrated her birthday last month with her sister Shilpa Shetty and mother Sunanda Shetty.
