Aryan Khan, son of superstar Shah Rukh KhanAfter nearly a month behind bars, a walkout took place from Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai in connection with the drugs-on-cruise case. The 23-year-old was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on Thursday, but due to some formalities, it took two days for him to be released.
Shah Rukh Khan was seen leaving his home Mannat this morning to reach Arthur Road Jail, where he had put all his work on indefinite hold. The actor was shooting for Yash Raj film Pathan and South director Atlee’s next when his son was detained by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on October 2.
News18.com had earlier reported that the actor had canceled the shooting of Pathan, for which he was expected to leave for Spain in the first week of October, with Atlee’s next film being shot in Mumbai. A source has now revealed that Shah Rukh will resume his work by the end of November, almost a week after Aryan’s birthday.
“November is usually a time of celebration for the family as it happens to be the birthdays of Shah Rukh and Aryan on November 2 and November 13 respectively. Shahrukh is currently feeling relieved that his son is coming home. This year Diwali is also around the same time. SRK has decided to celebrate a low key birthday. This year too, he is expected to congratulate his fans who stood by him during this difficult time. He wants to thank them and appreciate them for their support. Diwali and Aryan’s birthday are also being celebrated as a silent festival,” says the source.
The source further added that the actor wants to spend some time with his entire family before starting work. “SRK was completely handsome and constantly sat with the lawyers during the bail hearings. While granting bail to Aryan, the Bombay High Court imposed 14 conditions of bail on him. Shah Rukh wants to make sure that everything goes well and things get settled. The actor has decided to spend time with Aryan and family. Also, he does not want his producers to be made to wait longer. He has already informed both the films that he is working on it that he will join them by the end of next month.”
The source further added, “Both the films are currently on stand-by and waiting for Shah Rukh to join them. As soon as the bail order was passed on Thursday, both the units have started preparations for the necessary shoots. The actor is planning to shoot for Atlee’s film, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, before leaving the country for Pathan. Apart from Spain, the actor is also expected to shoot some scenes of the film in Russia.”
Reportedly, Shah Rukh is also working with Rajkumar Hirani for his social drama based on immigration, which stars Taapsee Pannu.
