A day after releasing the teaser of his upcoming film Jawan, Shahrukh Khan On Saturday, took to social media and dropped the poster of the film. In the poster, Shah Rukh can be seen posing in his injured and wrapped look. From his arms to his head and one eye, the actor is prominently covered with bandages. His intense expression is setting the poster on fire.
Dropping the poster, Shah Rukh Khan mentioned that Jawan is a special project and gave a shout out to Atlee and his team. “This is a special @redchilliesent project that has seen its awaited due to the inevitable issues around us. But some good people worked hard and made it happen. To make this dream come true @_gauravverma co-producer, @atlee47 And want to thank their jawans. Now… good to go Chief…!”
Meanwhile, raising excitement among fans, the megastar also added that the teaser was only the tip of the iceberg. “Jawan is a universal story that transcends languages, geographies and is for the enjoyment of all. The credit goes to Atlee for making this unique film, which has been a wonderful experience for me too as I love action movies! The teaser is just the tip of the iceberg and gives a glimpse of what is to come,” he said.
Director Atlee also assured the fans that the film will be a larger-than-life action entertainer and said, “Jawan has something for everyone, it’s action, emotion, drama all woven together to make it a visual spectacle. I want to give the audience an extraordinary experience, an event that they can all enjoy together and who better than Shah Rukh Khan himself to deliver it like never before.”
Jawan is produced by Gauri Khan and directed by Atlee. It will hit the theaters on June 2, 2023 in five Indian languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
Apart from Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan will also be seen in Pathan and Dunki. There are reports that the actor will also be seen for an action sequence in Salman Khan’s Tiger 3. However, there is no official confirmation of this yet.
