Shahid Kapoor Rides Bike, Vijay Sethupathi Makes Glass-Shattering Entry At Farzi Trailer Launch | Pics

Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi are sharing screen space for the first time in the upcoming web series ‘Farzi’. Directed by Raj and DK, the show will also star Raashi Khanna, Amol Palekar and Bhuvan Arora in key roles. The stars made a grand entry amidst media and paparazzi at the trailer launch event.

Vijay Sethupathi was the first celebrity to reach the stage. He entered inside by breaking the glass door. The star humbly posed for pictures.

Meanwhile, Raashi Khanna grabbed all the attention in a neon green bodycon outfit. She looked effortlessly glamorous. She tied her wavy hair in a ponytail. With a bright smile on her face, she greeted the media and paparazzi.

Shahid Kapoor made a grand entry on a bike. The actor looked cool in his black shade. The actor wore a white T-shirt which he styled with a black coat and boots. He definitely made his presence felt at the event.

Shahid and Vijay shared a warm hug before taking their seats on the stage.

Veteran actor Amol Palekar also reached on this occasion. The actor posed with Shahid Kapoor and shared that it is an absolute honor to work with young actors and directors and understand their sensibilities in the web space.

The trailer gives us a glimpse into the life of a small-time con artist Sunny (Shahid), who finds himself in the dark while pulling off a perfect con. However, a flamboyant and unorthodox task force officer (Vijay) has made it his mission to rid the country of the threat he poses.

Speaking about the series, Shahid Kapoor had earlier shared, “Farzi will always have a special place in my heart as it is my digital debut. It has been an enriching experience working with the fabulous pair Raj and DK and great actors like Vijay Sethupathi, Amol Palekar and Kay Kay Menon. I challenged myself as an actor by taking on this layered character, while my directors Raj and DK made the whole process fun and effortless.”

Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi said, “I have always sought out complex roles that challenge my abilities as an actor. That’s why I really liked the role I played in Farzi. It has been a pleasure working with the dynamic duo Raj and DK, and with Shahid Kapoor, who is both a talented actor and a wonderful person. It was incredible to work with such an amazing team and create something as mind-blowing as Fergie. I couldn’t think of a better digital debut, and I’m excited about the global release of the series.”
