Shahrukh KhanPathans rule over the whole world. Pathan fever is still at its peak and the film has become the first Hindi film to enter the 1000 crore club. Amid this blockbuster run, Shah Rukh took to his social media to thank fans for their love for the film and also added a cryptic caption. With the massive success of Pathan, SRK proved to be the king of Bollywood. He is back on the big screen after a gap of 4 years and the wait was worth it.
Expressing gratitude to all his fans, Shah Rukh took to his Instagram handle to thank them with a heart-warming note. He wrote, the sun is alone…burns…and comes out of darkness to shine again. Thank you all for letting the sun shine on #Pathan.
The comments section of the fans has been flooded with love and praise for the finale stars. One user commented, ‘Kings always have a history.’ Another commented, “Always keep shining”. “Thank you for being in this world”, added another fan. Before Pathan, Shah Rukh hadn’t starred in a film since 2018 and his last few films – Zero, Fan and Raees – didn’t set the box office on fire. Just as many had speculated that his box office spell was over, Shah Rukh made a grand comeback with Pathan.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathan also sets the tone for future crossover films in production banner YRF’s ‘Spy Universe’, which will feature secret agents, including Pathan (Deepika’s and Shah Rukh’s character in the new film), Tiger (New Deepika and Shah Rukh’s character) from the film.Salman Khan and Katrina’s character from the Tiger franchise) and Kabir (Hrithik Roshan from War).
