After KKR wrapped up the game in less than 16 overs, SRK went down to the field after the post-match festivities to congratulate his team players and met KL Rahul amongst the crowd.

SRK embraced the skipper and shared a couple words along with KKR coach Gautam Gambhir.

Gutted over the loss, LSG skipper KL Rahul said the outcome they obtained is hard to digest, hoping that the team will learn from their mistakes and bounce back in the next game.

“It was a proper hammering. Games like these are tough to digest and we have seen in IPL and every team goes through that. We will try and work out what went wrong and come back better,” said LSG skipper Rahul.

KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer also did his part in their win tonight as he played the perfect second fiddle to Salt’s heroic romp, whilst standing his own with a solid innings of 38*.

Both Iyer and Salt combined for a whopping 120-run partnership, which is now the second-highest partnership notched up against LSG in IPL history, only bettered by Shubman Gill & Wridhhiman Saha of Gujarat Titans, who put up a 142-run stand last year.

The win today also signifies the second most successful run-chase against LSG, and the first win for KKR against LSG in their last four outings.
