Noted Telugu actor Raja Babu passed away on Sunday after battling ailments for several years. According to his family members, the 64-year-old breathed his last on October 24. After mainly working in TV shows, Raja Babu rose to fame after his lead roles in some acclaimed films.

Rajababu was born on 13 June 1957 in Narasapurampet, Ramachandrapuram mandal, East Godavari district. He was in love with drama and theater since childhood.

In 1995, he entered the film industry with the film Uriki Monagadu. After that, she played lead roles in films like Pichhodi Pelli, Tata Manavadu, Thirupati, Ivariki Vaare Yamuna Tere, and Manushi Rodduna Paddadou. Many of his films were huge box-office successes, earning him a lot of fame. However, it was his TV shows that made him a household name.

Raja Babu acted in shows like Radha Madhu, Vasant Kokila, Abhishekam, Bangaru Kodalu, Mansu Mamta, Bangaru Panjaram, Na Kodalu Bangaram, Chi La Sau Sravathi and many more.
