Deepak Chahar gets hurt during MI vs CSK clash at Wankhede

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) feel that Deepak Chahar has been hit hard by a hamstring injury. The fast bowler was forced to walk off the field after bowling just one over against Mumbai Indians (MI) on Saturday night at the Wankhede and took no further part in the game.
According to reports, Chahar is likely to miss the next few matches of the franchise after getting injured on Saturday night. The right-arm pacer was ruled out for the better part of 2022 due to a hamstring injury and it was disappointing to see him bowl an over against Mumbai Indians.

“It looks like Deepak will be out for 4-5 games. He seems to have picked up a hamstring injury again and is looking uncomfortable. All other IPL venues are away from Chennai and there will be a lot of travel involved,” said Raina after CSK’s stupendous win over arch-rivals Mumbai Indians.
