Schools opened for students of 9th to 12th class from Monday in Uttar Pradesh. In the next phase, preparations are being made to open schools for the students of classes 6th to 8th and from 1st to 5th. In the meeting of Team-9 for Kovid-19 management on Monday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given its orders.

After this, the government has started preparations to open schools from class VI to VIII from August 23. After this, from September 1, studies in schools from classes 1 to 5 will start. The Chief Minister has also asked the officers to make detailed guidelines for this.

Higher educational institute also opened
After five months, the schools and colleges of Uttar Pradesh have become buzzing since Monday. Schools and higher educational institutions have opened up to class 9-12 with 50% capacity. In Lucknow, teachers welcomed school students with sandalwood. Applause was played for the children in Agra. Thermal screening took place at the entry gate.

The hands of the students were sanitized. Everyone was already ordered to wear masks. Due to Kovid, the school operators have not started the bus service yet. That’s why the students reached school either by their parents or on their own by cycling. The students, who reached the school on the first day after a long vacation, looked very happy.

Study will be done in two shifts
In many schools, there will be two shifts, while some schools have refused it. The first shift will run from 8 am to 12 noon and the second shift will run from 12:30 to 4:30. Earlier, schools were also opened from March 1. However, due to the second wave of Kovid-19, all the schools had to be closed on 18 March itself. Now schools are being reopened amid the fear of a third wave.

Will have to take care of the Kovid-19 protocol…

  • Only 50-50% students will be allowed to attend school in each shift.
  • The school administration will have to make arrangements for handwash, sanitizer in the colleges.
  • There will be thermal scanning of students, staff and teachers at the entry gate. Pulse oximeter will also be tested.
  • It will be mandatory for all teachers, staff and students to wear masks.
  • Only students and staff without symptoms will be allowed to come to school.
