School-colleges as well as all educational institutions including coaching centers will remain closed.

Schools and colleges will not open in Punjab yet. On Tuesday, the Punjab government extended the restrictions related to Corona till February 8. Apart from this, the night curfew from 10 pm to 5 am will also continue. The rule of no mask – no service will be applicable in government and private offices. Apart from this, after the relief of the Election Commission, the Punjab government has also given exemption for gathering of 1000 people in outdoor and 500 in indoor.

Punjab Home Secretary has sent orders to all DCs, SSPs and Police Commissioners asking them to strictly implement it. There is definitely a decrease in the cases of corona in the state but the deaths are not stopping. Due to which strictness has been maintained.

Online teaching will continue

It has been said in the new order that all schools, colleges, universities, coaching institutes etc. will remain closed. However, they can be opened for online teaching. Students cannot be called here. Medical and nursing colleges have been exempted from this.

Bars, gyms and cinemas will open with 50% capacity

The Punjab government has made it clear in the new order that bars, gyms, cinemas, multiplexes, restaurants, spas, sports complexes, museums, zoos etc. will open with 50% capacity. Their employees need a double dose of Kovid.
