New Delhi: State Bank of India Cards and Payment Services has amended certain rules for its SimplyClick cardholders which will be applicable from January 2023. According to the website of State Bank of India Cards and Payment Services, two rules related to redeeming vouchers and reward points will change in the new year 2023.
SBI Cards & Payment Services said, “With effect from January 6, 2023, Cleartrip vouchers issued to SimplyClick cardholders on reaching online spend milestones are to be redeemed in a single transaction only and cannot be clubbed with any other offer/voucher Is.” (Also read: State Bank of India hikes FD rates)
Also, from January 1, the rules for reward points on online spends with SimplyClick/SimplyClick on Amazon.in will also change. (Also read: Will the government remove Mahatma Gandhi’s portrait from Indian currency notes?)
“10X Reward Points on online spends on Amazon.in, SBI Card with SimplyClick/SimplyClick advantage to be revised to 5X Reward Points from 01 Jan 23. Your card earns 10X Reward Points on online spends on Apollo 24X7, BookMyShow , Cleartrip, EasyDiner, Lenskart and Netmeds.”
It may be recalled that from November 15, 2022, SBI Card levied revised charges on EMI transactions and new charges on rent payments using credit cards.
“Charges on your credit card will be revised/levied from 15th Nov’22. The processing fee on merchant EMI transactions has been revised to Rs.199 + applicable taxes from the earlier Rs.99 + applicable taxes. The processing fee on rent payment transactions will be 99 + applicable taxes,” the company said.
