Saurashtra University in Rajkot published a record 112 surveys in 15 months of Covid. Rajkot News – Times of India

Rajkot : Department of Psychology Saurashtra University (SU), since the start of the pandemic, has conducted and published 112 surveys. The university department also studied and analyzed the psychological changes in their lives while counseling people during the pandemic.
The SU department conducted a survey every five days. During the past 15 months, 50 students and four faculty members mentored more than 81,000 people and papers were published based on their interactions.
Head of Department Yogesh Jogsan “Due to the pandemic, people faced psychological issues as well as physical problems. The purpose of our surveys was to understand the problems of the people and to create awareness about it in the society.
The activity also provided practical knowledge to the students, Jogson said. Some of the major issues faced by the people from the studies include mass hysteria, ill effects of online education, post-traumatic stress disorder among COVID survivors, social media impact on children, social stigma and vaccinophobia.
