Saudi oil giant Aramco’s CFO set to step down

Aramco’s Khalid al-Dabbagh is set to step down as chief financial officer of Saudi Arabia’s oil giant, Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter. Ziad al-Murshed will replace al-Dabbagh, who helped lead Aramco through its initial public offering in 2019, according to the report. Bloomberg News said Aramco could announce a management change this week. Al-Dabbagh will join the firm’s board and retain the chairmanship of Saudi Basic Industries Corp, a unit of Aramco, the report said. declined to comment.
