Saudi Airlines Plane Suffers Windshield Crack, Makes Emergency Landing At Kolkata Airport

A cargo plane of Saudia Airlines had to make an emergency landing at the Kolkata airport on Saturday after its windshield was shattered, reports ANI. The aircraft landed safely at Kolkata airport at 12:02 pm. The airport had made all necessary arrangements before landing. According to airport officials, the full emergency was lifted after the flight landed.

Recently, an Etihad Airways flight to Abu Dhabi returned to Bangalore International Airport soon after take-off due to a technical problem. The airline said the flight made a normal landing at the Bengaluru airport. The flight was inspected and later proceeded to its destination where it landed this morning.

Earlier on April 1, a full emergency was declared at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport after a Dubai-bound FedEx plane hit a bird shortly after take-off, according to airport officials.
