Satya Jyothi Films has announced its third collaboration with Tamil actor-director Hiphop Tamizha Adi. The film will be directed by ‘Maragatha Nanayam’ fame Arch Sarvan. Satya Jyothi Films and Aadi have previously worked together in Sivakumarin Sabtham, which released last month only. Adi is a member of the musical duo HipHop Tamizha and has also directed Sivakumarin Sabatham. The film hit the silver screens on 30 September and received mixed reviews. Satya Jyothi Films and Aadi recently wrapped up the filming for Anbarivu, which is directed by Ashwin Ram.
Now the production house and the actor have announced their third project together. Satya Jyoti Films took to Twitter to reveal its association with Aadi. The production house tweeted, “We are excited to announce our next film with Hipoptamiza Adhi, directed by Maragatha Nanayam fame @ArkSaravan_Dir.” This untitled film will release in 2022.
Satya Jyothi Films and Aadi’s recent outing Sivakumarin Sabatham was a comedy-drama. Adi both acted and directed the film. It featured debutante Madhuri Jain in the lead role. The film earned over Rs 6 crore in its first week of theatrical business and received various responses from the film audience.
His current project, Anibaravu is expected to release soon as the shooting was completed earlier this month. The drama film features Kashmera Pardeshi, Napoleon, Vidarth and Urvashi.
The film studio is also working on Maaran with Dhanush. The shooting of the film is currently underway with Dhuruvangal Pathinaru fame in charge of direction. Malavika Mohanan and Smriti Venkat will play important roles in Maran.
Meanwhile, Adi was seen in the comedy film Naan Sirithal before Sivakumarin Sabtham. The pre-pandemic film released on February 14 last year and received mixed reviews. Directed by Rana in his directorial debut, the film starred Easwarya Menon, KS Ravikumar and Maria Juliana.
