On Thursday, veteran actor Satish Kaushik passed away unexpectedly due to a heart attack. The actor was feeling uneasy after celebrating Holi with friends and family in Delhi. He was taken to the hospital, but was declared dead on arrival. He was 66 and is now survived by his wife Shahi Kaushik and 10-year-old daughter Vanshika. The demise of Satish Kaushik has come as a deep shock to his fans and industry friends. Now the actor’s daughter has shared a heart touching picture remembering him.
Vanshika shared an old picture with the veteran actor on her Instagram account. He has also shared a heart emoji with the picture. In the picture, Vanshika is seen wrapping her arms around her father, and the father-daughter duo look adorable.

Last year, Satish Kaushik shared a picture and an emotional note on his daughter’s birthday. He wrote, “Wishing you a very happy birthday Vanshika my dearest daughter. You are 10 years old now and in these ten years you have given us happiness, peace and joy. Before you came life was very empty but on this day your arrival made us Meaningful and made more energetic. God bless you always. Love.”
In 1996, the veteran actor lost his two-year-old son, Shanu Kaushik. Then in 2012, at the age of 56, Satish welcomed their daughter Vanshika after 18 years of marriage. Vanshika was born through a surrogate mother.
Satish Kaushik’s last post seemed full of life and featured a series of Holi pictures from the annual celebration organized by renowned lyricist-writer Javed Akhtar in Mumbai on March 7.
