Responding to the same, the veteran actor’s sister informed the media that her brother was recovering slowly and was recently shifted from the ICU to the normal room. The family has requested everyone not to believe unofficial news doing the rounds on social media.

According to sources, Sarath Babu was in Bengaluru till a few weeks back. After his condition deteriorated, the actor was taken to Hyderabad for better treatment.
The superstar from South Carolina is currently being treated for multi-organ failure. There were reports that Sarath Babu had contracted sepsis, which affected the functioning of his kidneys, lungs, liver and other organs. This is Sarath Babu’s second hospitalization in recent weeks. Earlier he was admitted to a hospital in Chennai.
Sepsis is also known as blood poisoning, and is the immune system’s response to infection. If it is not treated on time, it can cause multi-organ failure and can be fatal.
The real name of Sarath Babu is Satyam Babu Dixitulu. He made his acting debut in 1973 with the Telugu film Rama Rajyam. After four years he Made her debut in Tamil cinema with Balachander’s film Pattina Pravesham.
His last Telugu film was Vakil Saab in 2021, starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead. The film was directed by Venu Sriram. His last Tamil film was Ramanan Purushotham’s Vasanth Mullai in 2023.
