Saptagiri-starrer Guduputani is now available for streaming on Zee5

Telugu Actor Sapthagiri-starrer Guduputani will now be available for streaming on Zee5 from Friday. The project hit theaters on December 25, 2021. Apart from Saptagiri, the film stars Neha Solanki, Raghu Kunche, Raghu Kumar Karumanchi and Vinny Mobstaz.

The film was directed by debut director KM Kumar. Talking to the media, the director wanted to release the film on OTT instead of theatres. He recalled, “After approaching producers P Srinivas Reddy and Katari Ramesh with the story, we thought that the story has the potential to draw a theater crowd, thus we made it more grand without compromising on the production standards. “

Guduputani is a mystery and thriller film. The film is about the theft of a temple. Telugu actor Sapthagiri acted as the protagonist in Guduputani, while musician-turned-actor Raghu Kunche played the antagonist. It is said that the entire shooting of the film was completed in just 16 days. The project was shot at various locations in Mysore, Hampi and Chikmagalur.

The story, though begins like any other romantic saga, both the main characters want to get married and their parents refuse to accept them. Then they run away and go into the forest. For a day they stay in a temple but at night the priest inadvertently locks the temple. A gang of robbers enter the temple. At this juncture, the audience gets to see a twist.

The character of Saptagiri in the film is weak minded, weak and cowardly. So, how he manages to save the temple and lady love is the real conspiracy. Saptagiri’s character Mystery will add humor to the film.

On the management front, for music, Pratap Vidya was roped in. The lead cinematographer of the flick was Pawan Chenna. Guduputani is controlled by Parupathi Srinivas Reddy and Katarai Ramesh Yadav. Kumar’s debut project is presented under the banner of SRR Productions.

On the career front, Sapthagiri will be next seen in Rendu Jella Sita, directed by Ramprasad Ragutu. The film will hit the theaters on July 15.
