Shiv Sena’s Rajya Sabha MP and spokesperson Sanjay Raut has written a letter to Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, making serious allegations against the central government. Shiv Sena MP has said in the letter – pressure is being made on me to topple the Thackeray government.

Not only this, he has also made serious allegations against the Enforcement Directorate (ED). In the letter, Raut said that efforts are being made to implicate me in every way through ED. I had bought a land 17 years ago, in that case ED has started investigation. ED is also probing the money spent on my daughter’s wedding. The vendors who worked for my daughter’s wedding are being harassed.

Along with the Vice President, Raut has also sent a copy of this letter to many leaders including NCP Chief Sharad Pawar, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Malikarjun Kharge, AAP leader Sanjay Singh, Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav. Raut has also urged everyone to support him.

Threatened to pay the price for refusing to topple the government
Sanjay Raut has also mentioned that some time ago some people had approached him to topple the Maharashtra government so that mid-term elections could be held in Maharashtra, on which Sanjay Raut categorically denied him. The Shiv Sena MP says that these people had also threatened to pay a big price if they did not help. According to Sanjay Raut, apart from him, two senior cabinet ministers of Maharashtra and two senior leaders of Maharashtra were also told to be sent to jail under the PMLA Act. Sanjay Raut has said in the letter that he has not begged for all this.

Trying to implicate in 17 year old case
Sanjay Raut has made a very serious allegation that BJP is trying to destabilize the Shiv Sena government by adopting various tactics. He said in the letter, ‘My family and I have bought some land in Alibaug. We bought this land 17 years ago. This land is about one acre. Now people from whom I have taken land are also being threatened. Fearing ED’s action, they are being asked to speak against me. Some money has also been given to them for this.

BJP is misusing agencies like ED
Raut further wrote in the letter, “I started my political career three decades ago. I have been in Shiv Sena from the very beginning. Presently Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress are in power in Maharashtra. Also, Shiv Sena’s with BJP. There was an alliance for more than 25 years. Twice Shiv Sena-BJP coalition government came in 25 years. We parted ways due to some ideological differences. However, after we parted ways from BJP, it has come to the fore that BJP Shiv Sena is misusing agencies like ED to harass leaders. Shiv Sena leaders are being targeted. Not only MPs but Shiv Sena MLAs are also being targeted. Since they are in Shiv Sena, so ED being investigated by.

28 people wrongly picked up by ED
MP Raut claimed that 28 people have been ‘wrongly’ picked up by the investigating agencies so far. Along with this, there has been a threat of dire consequences if I do not give a statement against me. While almost alluding to the Money Laundering Act enacted in 2003, he alleged that, “ED and other central agencies are using it to threaten and harass political rivals of the BJP.”
