Sanjay Raut Slams ‘Delhi Scriptwriters’ Ahead Of Uddhav Thackeray’s Court Hearing

New Delhi: The Supreme Court will decide who will get the Shiv Sena’s name and symbol, Uddhav Thackeray faction leader Sanjay Raut said on the eve of the hearing on the Shiv Sena split in the Supreme Court. Sanjay Raut also claimed that a Rs 2,000-crore deal was done to “buy” the Sena’s name and insignia and that the entire plan was hatched to capture the Brihanmumbai Corporation, the country’s richest local body, in the next municipal elections Was.

Alleging that “people from Delhi are screenwriters,” he said people from Maharashtra are “just pawns”. Tomorrow, a five-judge constitution bench of the Supreme Court will hold its next hearing on several issues related to the Shiv Sena saga.

In an unexpected decision on Friday, the Election Commission ended the months-long dispute over the name and symbol of the Shiv Sena in favor of the faction led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Uddhav Thackeray has appealed the Supreme Court’s decision, requesting an immediate hearing. The court, however, asked senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi to “appear tomorrow through due process”.

According to media reports, Sanjay Raut said, ‘The decision on this will be in the Supreme Court and the SC had said that the Election Commission should not take a decision as the matter is sub-judice.’

“So why was the decision taken in haste? Who is behind it? A pre-determined schedule was already made. When to do what, when to decide, on what day the governor needs to be changed.” When will Amit Shah come… It is all part of the script.”

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut is “doing a good job of destroying Uddhav Thackeray”, an aide of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said on Monday.

Shinde-led Shiv Sena chief whip Bharat Gogawale also said that police cases were being filed against Raut for allegedly using derogatory and inappropriate words while describing Shinde.
