New Delhi: Actor Sanjay Kapoor talks about his gray hair look and how he prepared himself for his role in Shahid Kapoor, Diana Penty, Ronit Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Ankur Bhatia and Vivaan Bhatena starrer ‘Bloody Daddy’.
He said, “My character is negative, but he is a bit quirky and whenever you see him you will have a smile on your face, because he is not funny, but the situations and the scenes are like that. It is a gentle kind.” The role, fantastic, and never done before. Everyone has loved the look, also because it is a stylized film, and when you get the look right, half the battle is won.
Sanjay further elaborated, “This look fits the character played by my character Hamid. Even though there are different characters in the frame and I am not speaking any dialogue, the audience’s attention will still be on my character because the way he looks”
Talking about his experience of working with his co-stars in ‘Bloody Daddy’, Sanjay said, “I have worked with Shahid Kapoor before in ‘Shaandaar’ and again after six, seven years. It was a pleasure working with him. He is an extremely talented actor. There are few actors who look better with age and Shahid is one of them. He is at the top of his game at the moment. He looks cool and dynamic.”
“Another actor with whom I have worked for the first time is Ronit Roy. I have known him for a very long time. We are gym buddies, and after all, when you spend quality time together, you get to know each other. We know each other very well, though we are at each other’s throats in the film. We had a great time while shooting in Abu Dhabi. We used to work out together and have our lunch and dinner together. I love Rajeev Khandelwal’s It was a pleasure working with him as well. He is absolutely honest and dedicated. Ronit.”
On the work front, Sanjay reinvented himself by starring in an anthology titled ‘Lust Stories’. Now after ‘Bloody Daddy’ he also has Sriram Raghavan’s ‘Merry Christmas’ with Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi. The actor also has some interesting unannounced projects in the pipeline.
