Sanjay Dutt has a huge fan following in the Kashmir Valley and a large number of people today turned up to see him at the Ashmuqam shrine, where the superstar also interacted with the locals.

Sanjay Dutt said, ‘Baba had called me so I could come here. I prayed for my India, my Kashmir that tourism flourishes here, people shoot, everyone gets work, I am happy to see that so many tourists came here. I have traveled all over the world but there is no place like Kashmir. My first film Rocky was shot here, my first work in life started from Kashmir, I love Kashmir very much, and I wish to come here always.

There are huge inquiries from production houses in Kashmir for permission to shoot in Kashmir. Be it Bollywood or Tollywood, a large number of producers have approached the UT administration for permission. Keeping in view the interest of production houses, the Jammu and Kashmir government had created a single window permission system in the UT, so that more and more films and other shootings could take place in Kashmir, which used to be the first choice of production houses.
