This is not the first time that Sania Mirza will be seen appearing on Kapil Sharma’s comedy show. Previously, she graced the show with her sister Anam Mirza. Prior to this, she was also seen on the show with her filmmaker friend, Farah Khan.

Meanwhile, Sania Mirza’s appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show comes months after she parted ways with her Pakistani cricketer husband Shoaib Malik. In January this year, Malik surprised everyone after he announced his second marriage to actress Sana Javed. She is a Pakistani actress who made her debut in 2012 with Shehr-e-Zaat. She got recognition after portraying the titular role in the romantic drama Khaani. For the show, she also received a nomination at the Lux Style Awards. Besides Khaani, Sana is also known for dramas like Ruswai and Dunk.

Later, Sania’s family shared a message expressing that the 37-year-old Indian star and ex-husband and former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik have been divorced for a few months. “Sania has always kept her personal life away from the public eye. However, today the need has arisen for her to share that Shoaib and she have been divorced for a few months now. She wishes Shoaib well for his new journey ahead,” the message read.

“At this sensitive period of her life, we would like to request all fans and well-wishers to refrain from indulging in any speculation and to respect her need for privacy,” it added.
