Samsung is building a strong core of fitness wearables. And a news report says that the company is planning to add a special health device to its next Galaxy Watch. Samsung may equip the Galaxy Watch 5 with a thermometer, which helps track people’s temperature, something that works effectively for detecting early symptoms of COVID and other diseases.
Wearables have become an effective tool for health monitoring. The Apple Watch is a prime example of such capabilities, and Samsung is looking to take it up a notch with the Galaxy Watch 5.

The report says that Samsung has found a way to keep the thermometer working even though it may be difficult to register readings due to the frequent changes in the temperature and temperature around you. If this feature works as advertised, Samsung may have a useful tool in its arsenal.
According to another report, Samsung is trying out a Galaxy Buds prototype that can read your temperature. So, as soon as you place the Buds in your ear, it will use the built-in infrared sensor to read your eardrum. The Galaxy Watch 5 is likely to adopt a similar technology that will be integrated on the back of the wrist.
