New Delhi: Ahead of the company’s planned launch event on July 26, Samsung on Wednesday teased other items besides its latest generation of foldable smartphones. A blog post by TM Roh, president and head of MX business at Samsung Electronics, gives some idea of what will be revealed during the important launch in South Korea next week.
This includes the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Fold 5, along with new tablets and smartwatches. Samsung has taken the lead in the field of foldable phones, which Roh argues has “raised the bar.”
According to him, “every gram and millimeter in a foldable device requires an engineering breakthrough,” and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Fold 5 “will be thinner and lighter than their predecessors.”

According to reports, both the Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 will feature new hinge designs that will enable the handsets to eliminate the “hinge gap” present on previous iterations, as well as reduce the weight of the phones.
According to rumours, the Flip 5 will reportedly have a cover display that is much bigger than the Moto Razr 40 Ultra, which was just released. Additionally, both the devices are likely to get newer hardware and better photography experience.
The next-generation “Galaxy Tab and wearables are designed in the same spirit,” says Roh, and “they work harmoniously with each other in an ecosystem that unlocks a powerful connected experience, One that serves as a seamless extension of your needs, preferences and unique personality.”
