Whereas samsung All set for its biggest launch event – Galaxy Unpacked – in 2021, where it will launch two foldable phones along with earbuds and smartwatch, the Chinese smartphone brand oneplus Trying to steal Samsung’s thunder. OnePlus USA posted a tweet teasing a video of an undisclosed foldable phone that could be unveiled by Samsung when it launches the new Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 foldable phones at its Unpacked event.
To make things more exciting, OnePlus said that it will be talking more about this surprising tweet, showing a foldable phone, right when Samsung’s event kicks off- 10AM ET or 7.30PM IST.

There are no leaked reports or rumors about OnePlus launching any foldable phone yet. In fact, it’s too early to speculate on what OnePlus is actually doing, given that there is very little information. As per the video posted by OnePlus, the phone can’t truly be called a foldable phone as it has a wide hinge in the middle. It looks like the two displays are joined together by a hinge mechanism in the middle and the screen looks to be made of regular glass. The device is very similar to the LG G8X ThinQ which comes with a dual display.
As far as Samsung’s foldable phone is concerned, Samsung is actually using a flexible display which is claimed to be made of ultra-thin glass. Plus, the entire display expands as one big screen and not as two separate displays.
The Z Fold 3 unfolds horizontally, essentially turning your phone into a nearly 8-inch tablet. Reports claim Samsung is adding s-pen Stylus support for Galaxy Z Fold 3. The design and form factor is expected to be similar to the older Fold device and it will come with a total of five cameras–three at the rear, one on the main display and one on the front. cover display. It will be powered by a new chipset and will have support for 5G.
While all eyes will be on Samsung on how the company is able to offer S-Pen stylus support on a delicately flexible display, OnePlus’ bold promotional move will certainly be tested.
