Samsung is the market leader in the case of foldable smartphones. The South Korean giant was the first to launch a commercially available foldable smartphone, and is the only one to offer multiple foldable options in the Indian market. Now, it looks like Samsung may be adding another foldable to its portfolio. Currently, Samsung has Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip smartphones in its lineup. However, a report says that the company may bring a third foldable or sliding display smartphone this year.

The company showcased the Samsung Galaxy Flex S, Flex G and Flex Slideable concepts during the show. The Samsung Flex G and Samsung Flex S concepts are named from the way they appeared. This means that the Flex S comes with three separate panels that fold outwards into a bigger screen. The Samsung Flex S offers a very large “unfolded” form factor with a compact design, but the two outer panels can be prone to scratches. The Flex G also gets three foldable panels that fold inwards instead of on the outside. The Samsung Flex Slideable, on the other hand, has an extended display that rolls out to reveal a larger form factor.
