Samsung Galaxy S23 series launching on February 1, confirms company

New Delhi: Samsung has officially confirmed its Galaxy Unpacked event on February 1, hinting that the upcoming Galaxy S23 series of smartphones will be launched on the same day. This will be the first in-person edition of the event since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020. It will also be streamed live on the official website of the tech giant.

Samsung said, “A new era of Galaxy innovation is coming. Our innovation is designed to enable incredible possibilities for people today and beyond. The new Galaxy S series will symbolize that we are committed to the ultimate How do you define the premium experience?

Samsung India tweeted, “How far can your phone camera take you? Don’t wait for the Galaxy to unpack. Pre-reserve your next Galaxy now.”

Galaxy Unpacked will start at 11.30 pm. Samsung has also said that customers can pre-reserve the upcoming Galaxy phone and get benefits of Rs 5,000.

As per rumours, the Galaxy S23 series could feature an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

As per a 9to5Google report, it will likely come in three colors – Cotton Flower, Mistly Lilac, Botanic Green and Phantom Black.

Meanwhile, Samsung will reportedly unveil its next-gen Galaxy laptops along with its Galaxy S23 series at the Unpacked event.

According to SamMobile, the company is expected to update its Galaxy Book laptop lineup with better hardware specifications and better software.

The exact specifications of the upcoming Galaxy laptops are still unclear, but the Galaxy Books are expected to feature Intel’s 13th generation processors.

Some models may have a built-in S Pen stylus, while others may have a dedicated graphics processing unit (GPU).
