While the Bollywood superstar plays the lead, former Miss World Manushi Chhillar, who makes her acting debut with the film, will essay the role of Princess Sanyogita. Ahead of the release, Akshay posted a special message on social media requesting the audience to refrain from posting “spoilers” from his latest historical film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’.

“The entire team of Samrat Prithviraj, a film that brilliantly celebrates the life of one of India’s bravest kings, Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, has taken four years to create a visual spectacle that we are all very proud of. Since it is an authentic historical, there are many aspects of the life of the emperor which are little known to the people of our country, especially the youth.” Posted the ‘Khiladi’ actor on his social media handle.

“Thus, it is our sincere request to all who have watched the film from yesterday not to give spoilers revealing many aspects of our film, which are designed to be awe-inspiring. We are here to bring you only on the big screen from tomorrow. Hoping to have full fun!” Akshay added.

‘Samrat Prithviraj’, which is based on the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role as he plays the legendary warrior who fought valiantly to defend India from the ruthless invader Muhammad of Ghor. It also stars former Miss World Manushi Chhillar who plays Sanyogita, the beloved princess of King Prithviraj. The film is directed by Chandra Prakash Dwivedi.

Ahead of the film’s release on Thursday, the Bollywood film was made tax-free in many states including Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

The film, a YRF production has released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
