Sammed Shikharji protest: Jain community members take out huge rally in Hyderabad
The Jain community in Hyderabad has joined the nationwide protests against development in the states of Jharkhand and Gujarat.

Hyderabad: The Jain community in the city took out a rally on Wednesday to protest against the incidents related to religious places in the city. Gujarat and Jharkhand.
The Jain community here has joined the protests across the country against the developments in the states. Jharkhand and Gujarat. While the protest is against the Jharkhand government’s plan to develop Sammed Shikharji as a tourist attraction, the protest in Gujarat is against the alleged desecration of the Jain shrine Palitana Shikarji.
As part of the protests, Jain In Hyderabad, a large rally was taken out from Feelkhana Jain Temple to the District Collector’s Office. By handing over the memorandum to the Assistant Collector, Jain Saint Tirthasundar Maharaj assured the officers to forward it to the Central Government.
Sanskar Sainiks, who organized the rally, said they are planning a fast unto death in the coming days.
