Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has shut down a troll on social media who accused her of “robbing” her Rs 50 crore as alimony after her divorce from ex-husband and actor Naga Chaitanya.
Samantha has been trending on social media ever since her item song ‘Oo Antava’ from ‘Pushpa’ was released.
While a large section of the internet was busy appreciating her for the latest cap worn by the actress, a section is demeaning her for her ‘courage’ in the song.
On Tuesday, a troll commented on his marital status, as he also accused him of looting Rs 50 crore from a “gentleman”. His comment implies that the actress had taken alimony in connection with her separation from Naga Chaitanya.
Samantha, who usually ignores her social media trolls by simply blocking them, replied, “May your soul rest in peace.”
With this reply, the troll soon deleted his derogatory comment. Samantha’s subtle, yet lethal reply grabbed everyone’s attention.
On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is to appear in Gunasekhar’s directorial venture Shakunthalam while she has a few multilingual films in her kitty. He also has a Hollywood film named ‘The Arrangement of Love’ in his list.
