Meanwhile, a few days ago, the makers also released a poster of the actress in a bold avatar. She was seen in a brown leather jacket teamed with a pair of black denims and wore brown shades to complete her look.
Garh is an action series and its her second project with Amazon Prime video and director duo Raj and DK, who previously cast her in their hit espionage thriller series The Family Man 2. As per sources, the major part of the shooting will be held in North India, followed by Serbia and South Africa. The web series will be one of those Indian shows which will have an international audience and the project also marks the first collaboration between Samantha and Varun Dhawan.
Apart from this, Samantha will next be seen in the much-awaited mythological drama Shakuntalam directed by Gunasekhar. The film is based on Kalidasa’s famous play Abhigyana Shakuntalam.
The film will depict the epic love story between Shakuntala and King Dushyant. Dev Mohan will be seen as King Dushyant. The film also stars Jisshu Sengupta, Madhu, Gautami, Aditi Balan and Ananya Nagalla in supporting roles.
Samantha also has an upcoming Telugu language romantic comedy film Kushi. The film is directed by Shiv Nirvana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and stars Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role and is scheduled to hit the theaters this year. Although the makers have not finalized the release date yet.
