Samantha Ruth Prabhu impressed fans with her item song Oo Antva Oo Oo Antva for Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise. The song became an instant hit with fans dancing to its tune in theater halls as well. The actress has now shared a behind the scene (BTS) video of the song, which gives a glimpse of the hard work that went into it.
The video shared on YouTube was taken at a dance rehearsal hall. Samantha was dressed in athletic clothing and was led by a choreographer. While he got most of the stairs correct, he was missing a few steps as well. During the break, Samantha interacted with the camera.
“They’re hitting me. They’re not even sweating, look (at me),” he said, addressing the camera and the person behind him. The man behind the camera asked Samantha how tired she was before the video showed some more montages of her rehearsals. “On a scale of 1 to 10, how tired are you?” The man asked Samantha. The actress replied, “100.”
Oo Antwa Oo Oo Antva marked Samantha’s first item number for a film. Within weeks of its release, the music video crossed 100 million views on YouTube. In the video, Samantha wore a shimmery Indian ensemble for the dance number. The song also featured Allu Arjun and Samantha was trying her best to tease him by keeping a strong front.
Not only the song but the fans also enjoyed Pushpa a lot. The film has done a great collection at the box office. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the Hindi version of the film has crossed Rs 70 crore box office collection as of Thursday, January 6.
