Samantha Ruth Prabhu escorted him to the red carpet premiere of Citadel in London. The actress leading Citadel India was joined by her co-star Varun Dhawan and the directors of the Indian chapter, Raj & DK. The actress turned heads as soon as she entered the event.
For the special evening, Samantha chose a black outfit from the house of Victoria Beckham. She looked drop dead gorgeous in a form fitting black crop top and matching ankle length skirt. She capped it off with a snake necklace. Varun joined them in a black tee, jacket and matching pants.
Samantha was seen blushing on the carpet as Varun held her close to him and they posed for pictures. Samantha also posed solo, flaunting her infectious smile, and later joined the Citadel India team for a group pic.
Garh Bharat is currently in shooting. The Indian Chapter is an offshoot of the international version starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. At a press conference at Citadel in India earlier this month, Priyanka was asked if she had given any advice to Samantha and Varun.
The actress said, ‘I don’t think I can give him any advice. He is such an accomplished actor in his own way. I cannot say anything. I met Varun recently at the NMACC event and he was telling me how the shoot was going, how excited he was. There are some really cool threads that connect the other installments to ours, which is why we were talking about them.
Meanwhile, Citadel is ready to release Amazon Prime Video on 28 April. The series is helmed by Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo aka The Russo Brothers, and created by David Weil.
