Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan released last week with Salman Khan’s song Lets Dance Chotu Motu featuring in it.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s latest song Let’s Dance Chhotu Motu Aag Ki has come under fire. The song, which was a part of her recently released film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, has been slammed by the Early Childhood Association (ECA) for using dated, ‘senseless’ nursery rhymes for the lyrics. In an open letter, the ECA urged Bollywood Be a little more careful when it comes to creating content for kids. For those not in the know, the song rhymes with Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Jack and Jill and Humpty Dumpty, among others.

Speaking about the song, which has been sung by Salman and rapped by Yo Yo Honey Singh and Neha Bhasin, association president Dr. Swati Popat Vats said, “At a time when parents and schools are Trying to move away from the- old rhyme, here comes a movie that glorifies it! Salman Khan He has a huge fan following among kids. This means that these meaningless rhymes are being played by mothers as they feed their babies and at birthday parties.”

“The curriculum focuses on empathy and yet you have songs like Humpty Dumpty and Jack and Jill who have fallen and instead of feeling sad for them they are all dancing and happy. What message are you sending kids about development?” he added.
