The Kick actor arrived at a press conference in Mumbai on Thursday evening to make the official announcement. During his interaction with the media, Salman Khan talked about a variety of things, be it the reason behind Hindi films not working at the box office or revealing that he is not interested in receiving awards. The Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan fame also spoke about a journalist who wrote negative stories about her.
Talking about the incident, the actor admitted that he has a problem remembering names. “My problem at that time was that I knew the names but I did not know the faces of those names. That problem continues till now. However, there was an exceptional case.
He talked about a journalist who apparently used to write negative things about him. Till the time they met at an event a year-and-a-half ago, Salman knew her face but not her surname. It seems that someone called him from behind and Salman Khan heard his name, from that day he remembers the journalist’s face and his name. He recalled that the journalist had written a lot of negative stories about him. “So bad was written about me,” Salman recalled, adding that it was because of this that he clearly remembered the journalist’s face and name.

During the same conference, Salman Khan also spoke on the hot topic of discussion that why Hindi films are not performing at the box office. The star, who has spent nearly three decades in the world of showbiz, had a simple answer to this question. He only said that if the films are not good enough to impress the audience then how will the films go on.
Currently, Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming action film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Ki opposite Pooja Hegde and it also stars South megastar Venkatesh Daggubati in a pivotal role. The actioner will release on the occasion of Eid this year. Next, he will be seen playing the role of detective Avinash Singh Rathod in the third installment of the Tiger film franchise alongside Katrina Kaif.
